In and Around the Studio
VGJD at the Guggenheim Museum

I vividly remember seeing the Guggenheim museum for the first time on a trip to NY with my Mom when I was just 16. That iconic white sculpted building design of Frank Lloyd Wright and the art works housed inside have had an undeniable and lasting impression on me. So its still a bit surreal to announce that the Guggenheim Museum store now carries my work! This has been a long time dream of mine and for my mom This is for you Maman ... tfqta toujours.

Celia Bertoia
This past Friday I had the chance to the see Celia Bertoia, the daughter of Harry Bertoia, one of my favorite iconic mid century designers speak about the life of her father. It was truly insightful to hear her stories about her parents, Charles Eames, Florence Knoll and a host of other game changing designers of their generation... not mention a thrill to meet her in person after the talk! I'm sure it made my maman smile.

Thanks Christy Natsumi Jewelry for making sure I didn't miss this!
